What is it?

Our team offers several supportive therapies that can be incorporated into a patient's care plan or used independently. They include: Class 3B cold laser therapy, which uses light to target tissue and reduce oxidative stress; electrical stimulation (E-Stim) delivers a gentle current to calm overactive nerves and address both acute and chronic pain; therapeutic ultrasound uses sound waves to reduce swelling and treat soft tissue conditions, and can be paired with pulsed galvanic stimulation for acute injuries.

What is it?

Cox Flexion Technique is a special form of spinal manipulation that uses a segmented table to gently decompress spinal segments, reducing pressure within the intervertebral discs. Patients often describe it as feeling like a stretch, and many find it immediately relieving. We typically use it alongside other treatment protocols rather than in isolation.

Dr. John Moore founded Muncie Spine and Rehab in 1988 after chiropractic care resolved a chronic hip condition that had derailed his high school running career. That experience shaped a philosophy he's carried for nearly four decades: that the body has a remarkable ability to heal itself when given the right care.

Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?

No referral is needed. You can call us directly and schedule an appointment at your convenience. Same-day appointments are often available.

How long will my first visit take?

Your first visit includes a detailed examination, a review of your health history, and, in most cases, X-rays and your first adjustment. Plan for approximately 45-60 minutes.

How much does chiropractic care cost?

The cost depends on your treatment plan and insurance coverage. Our front desk team will clearly and simply walk you through your options before you begin care, so there are no surprises.

How often will I need to come in?

After your first visit, your doctor will outline a recommended treatment plan tailored to your condition and goals. Most patients start with more frequent visits and gradually reduce frequency as they improve.

What should I expect at my first visit?

You'll meet with your doctor for a thorough examination. Depending on your condition, we may take on-site X-rays to get a clear picture of your spine. Most patients receive an adjustment and possibly some therapy at their very first visit, along with a clear treatment plan.

Is chiropractic care safe?

Yes. Chiropractic care is one of the safest forms of health care for musculoskeletal conditions. Our doctors use evidence-based techniques tailored to each patient, including gentler approaches for children, expectant mothers, and older adults.

Do you treat children and pregnant women?

Absolutely. We care for patients at every stage of life, from newborns to seniors. Pediatric adjustments use very gentle, age-appropriate techniques. During pregnancy, chiropractic care can help maintain pelvic and lumbar alignment, reduce pain and discomfort, and may even support an easier delivery.

Do you treat sports injuries?
