Care at our practice begins with a detailed, thorough examination before any treatment begins. Our doctors use a range of hands-on adjusting methods, including Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson Drop Table, and Activator Methods®, selecting the approach that best fits each patient's needs. Visuals are used in the office to help patients understand exactly what's happening and why.
Who is it for?
Anyone dealing with low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, sacroiliac joint pain, headaches, extremity pain, or nerve impingement, including those recovering from injuries.
Benefits
What is it?
Sports chiropractic addresses the specific demands athletes place on their bodies. Each athlete is evaluated individually, and care is tailored based on the injury, sport, and level of competition. When appropriate, chiropractic adjustments are combined with additional therapies or rehabilitation exercises to support a full and lasting recovery.
Who is it for?
High school and college athletes dealing with sports-related injuries, particularly those involving the shoulder, knee, ankle, or elbow.
Benefits
What is it?
Our pediatric chiropractic care is adapted to the unique needs of infants, children, and adolescents. Your first visit includes a detailed examination and a clear treatment plan before care begins. Activator Methods® are frequently used with younger patients, and our doctors take the time to walk children through what to expect, so first visits are calm and approachable rather than intimidating.
Who is it for?
Infants, children, and adolescents who may benefit from chiropractic support, including those with colic, developmental concerns, or general musculoskeletal complaints.
Benefits
What is it?
Prenatal chiropractic uses side posture techniques and, when appropriate, the Webster Technique to address the unique structural changes that occur throughout pregnancy. Care is provided periodically through each trimester and is strongly encouraged postpartum, as the body continues to experience significant physical stress.
Who is it for?
Pregnant women experiencing pelvic or lumbar discomfort, as well as postpartum patients whose bodies are recovering from the demands of pregnancy and delivery.
Benefits
What is it?
Our team offers several supportive therapies that can be incorporated into a patient's care plan or used independently. They include: Class 3B cold laser therapy, which uses light to target tissue and reduce oxidative stress; electrical stimulation (E-Stim) delivers a gentle current to calm overactive nerves and address both acute and chronic pain; therapeutic ultrasound uses sound waves to reduce swelling and treat soft tissue conditions, and can be paired with pulsed galvanic stimulation for acute injuries.
Who is it for?
Patients with inflammation, joint pain, nerve pain, muscle dysfunction, tendinopathies, scar tissue, acute injuries, or chronic pain who may benefit from targeted therapeutic support, alongside or apart from adjustments.
Benefits
What is it?
Cox Flexion Technique is a special form of spinal manipulation that uses a segmented table to gently decompress spinal segments, reducing pressure within the intervertebral discs. Patients often describe it as feeling like a stretch, and many find it immediately relieving. We typically use it alongside other treatment protocols rather than in isolation.
Who is it for?
Patients with spinal stenosis, disc herniations, facet syndromes, radicular pain, or general back tightness and achiness who need a gentler decompression-focused approach.
Benefits
Muncie Spine and Rehab focuses on the body's unique natural ability to heal itself when the proper stimulus is utilized. Chiropractic care is that extra something that is needed to help the body heal. Many conditions can be traced back to improper nerve function and or dietary imbalances or poor nutrition. Restoring proper spinal function and alignment allows the nervous system to work properly, thus the body can stay at optimum health. And that is what we are here to help you with.
We use highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use to the chiropractic care we provide you is based on our clinical judgment and many years of experience.
Muncie Spine and Rehab is a family practice with over 30 years of serving the Muncie and [AS] community. Our father-and-sons team shares a genuine passion for helping patients achieve their best health and return to the lives they want.
MEET THE DOCTORS
Dr. John Moore founded Muncie Spine and Rehab in 1988 after chiropractic care resolved a chronic hip condition that had derailed his high school running career. That experience shaped a philosophy he's carried for nearly four decades: that the body has a remarkable ability to heal itself when given the right care.
Growing up watching his father help patients reclaim their health, Dr. Seth knew chiropractic was his path. He joined the practice in 2018 and brings a thorough, evidence-informed approach focused on getting to the root cause of pain, not just managing symptoms.
The newest Moore to join the practice, Dr. Zack brings fresh training and a deep curiosity about the human body. His focus goes beyond short-term relief; he's committed to helping every patient become an active participant in their own long-term health.

In the future I hope to see people take care of themselves with consistent healthy lifestyle choices instead of symptom- based treatment. That would be a wonderful, tremendous change from what we see on television and print advertising. Chiropractic care is true wellness care.
